Installation of the treble-side of a button accordion. Greatest care is neccesary to do the fine tuning on the mechanics.

There is being worked on treble side of a piano accordion. Keyboard and mechanics have to work together smoothly.

The construction of the housing of the accordion is a true master craftsmanship. All single parts must be assembled in to a housing part, corners and edges will be worked out by hand and transitions will be filled and sanded in time-consuming work.

Bass housing of a diatonic accoridon gets all neccesary holes and openings.

Also, the coating of the accordion housing with celluloid is a very meticulous work which can be more difficult than suggested itself. When getting there should be no wrinkles, waves, and overlaps.

Also this step can be only performed by hand. The matt surface of the celluloid will be sharp-edged removed. Only then it can be polished to the final gloss for the accordion.
