If you plan to buy an accordion make sure that you get qualified counsel by expert staff without being short of time. It is always advisable to compare instruments of diverse quality. Make sure you get to know the differences and do not hesitate to try out! Label instruments are to be preferred in any case. They ensure quality, good sound and a comfortable way of playing.
Basically the following questions should be checked in advance:
- What kind of music do you want to play – or do you want to use the instrument for many types of music (for example folk music or different kinds like rock and pop music, jazz, classical music and so on)?
- Is the accordion intended for a beginner, for a child or an adult? Do you want to buy a beginner's instrument in order to learn how to play the accordion which you just keep till you buy the next bigger one? Or are you searching for an instrument that is to be played for a longer time?
- Are you already an advanced player and does this make you independently concerning the choice of an instrument? Are you a leisure time musician or do you play in an accordion orchestra where special demands are made (manufacturer, brand, type, size and so on)?
